Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav criticized the Congress over its Indore Lok Sabha candidate withdrawing at the last moment, likening it to a bridegroom fleeing before the wedding. Akshay Kumar Bam, the Congress candidate, withdrew his nomination and later joined the BJP. Yadav stated it is not his party's fault if the bridegroom flees before the wedding.
