Johor state government considers policies to control property price speculation in JS-SEZ.

The Johor state government is considering policies to control property price speculation related to the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). Concerns over escalating property prices have arisen, and new policies may include introducing premiums and discussing the construction of more affordable homes in JS-SEZ areas with the Ministry of Local Government and Housing. The government is also working with 18 ministries to address concerns of all parties, including fishermen's safety at sea.
