Dubai Central Laboratory, affiliated with Dubai Municipality, introduces an AI-based technology to detect Legionella bacteria, causing acute respiratory infections. The first in the region, it offers 99% accuracy, taking 48 hours to produce results compared to 14 days with traditional methods. The laboratory, which conducts over 100,000 tests annually, aims to improve Emirate's health and safety system.
