Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), called for more women inclusion and participation in leadership roles during a meeting with Duchess of Sussex Meghan at the Nigerian Women in Leadership event in Abuja. Okonjo-Iweala highlighted the many challenges women face in becoming leaders, and emphasized the need for an enabling environment for the gender. She urged for an increase in the percentage of women in leadership positions at both state and federal levels.
