1 dead after altercation in Penticton: Penticton RCMP are investigating a fatal altercation that occurred on Lakeshore Drive around 2 a.m. on May 12. One person was found with critical injuries and later died. The police are treating this as a targeted criminal act and have requested the public to avoid Lakeshore Drive at Power Street and the skate park at Riverside Park. Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to call Penticton RCMP.
