14 Damascus College students completed a 1085km cycling journey from Broken Hill to Ballarat in 5 days to raise funds for the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute, honoring past student Connor Prunty who passed away from bowel cancer. The students built and powered their own electric solar-assisted human-powered trike, raising almost $8,000, surpassing their initial $500 goal.
