BNP politician Mohammad Gias Uddin jailed in case of amassing Tk 1.41 crore illegal wealth.

Former BNP lawmaker, Mohammad Gias Uddin, from the Narayanganj-4 constituency was sent to jail by a Dhaka court in a case related to amassing illegal wealth of Taka 1.41 crore. Gias Uddin surrendered before the court and sought bail, but the court denied it. The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case in December 2021, alleging that Uddin had amassed wealth beyond his known source of income.
