All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has predicted India will have its first Muslim Prime Minister, who will be a hijab-clad woman. In an interview with Mint, he said, “Inshallah, if a Muslim is to become the PM of India, it will be in the form of a woman wearing a hijab. The time will come.” Owaisi dismissed allegations that his party supports the BJP and expressed confidence in Muslims' representation in India's politics.
