20-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with SUV on westbound I-290 in Amherst; all lanes closed for over 3 hours. The motorcyclist, riding a 2023 Kawasaki, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with back, head, and wrist injuries. The SUV driver, a 39-year-old Buffalo man, was unharmed. The crash occurred between Millersport Highway and I-990 exits and remains under investigation.
