71-year-old Juanita Vidal was killed and her daughter Jessica, 44, critically injured in a hit-and-run incident in Brooklyn, New York, just days before Mother's Day. The women were crossing the street when they were struck by a blue Mazda with Massachusetts license plates, which was attempting to evade police.
