12-year-old gymnast Aleah Farrugia from Carmel and Co in Shellharbour secured 2nd place in her Level 7 debut at the NSW Border Challenge Trials, qualifying for the NSW Level 7 A team. She also placed 5th on bar and floor, and 3rd on beam, which will enable her to represent NSW against top Level 7 gymnasts in Caloundra in June. Farrugia's coach, Carmel Blades, praised her dedication, training, and talent.
