16-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his status as a juvenile, was sentenced to two years in detention for two dangerous high-speed pursuits in suburban Dublin in 2020. He drove on the wrong side of the road, entered dual carriage slipways into oncoming traffic, and put two Gardaí's lives at risk. The boy, who has 13 previous convictions, pleaded guilty in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
