Xejet Airlines Embraer 145 skidded off Runway 18L at Lagos Airport after landing from Abuja, with 52 passengers and crew on board.
A Xejet Airlines aircraft skidded off Runway 18L at Lagos Airport into the grass verge, after landing from Abuja. The Embraer 145 aircraft, carrying 52 passengers and crew, veered off the runway at around 11:29 am. Fire and rescue personnel were deployed to aid in the evacuation of passengers, and Runway 18L was temporarily closed to traffic. The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) confirmed the incident and deployed a team of investigators to the site.
