A three-vehicle crash on State Highway 3 (Main North Road) in Urenui, near the Onaero River, resulted in a fatality and serious injuries. The incident occurred at 10:50 am, and four people were transported to Taranaki Base Hospital. The road was closed during the emergency response, but has since reopened. The Serious Crash Unit is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
