Veteran actress Sigourney Weaver is in talks to join the cast of "The Mandalorian & Grogu," the first Star Wars film since 2019's "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker." Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kathleen Kennedy, the film will reportedly follow the adventures of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his companion Grogu. Sigourney Weaver, known for her roles in the Alien and Avatar franchises, is in discussions to sign on for a role in the film slated for a 2026 release.
