Richmond receives $13M investment from federal, provincial governments & city to strengthen flood protection infrastructure, including quadrupling No. 3 Road South Drainage Pump Station's capacity, raising a dike segment, and improving culverts & adding a utility building with a motor control centre and backup generator. This aims to mitigate risks from rising sea levels, severe storms, and climate change.
