Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, met with a US Congress delegation at the Ritz-Carlton Doha hotel. The delegation, focused on foreign affairs, financial services, and homeland security, discussed ways to strengthen Qatar-US strategic ties and joint efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip and Occupied Palestinian Territories.
