Pakistan and Italy have agreed to finalise a formal deal to jointly counter human trafficking and illegal migration. The Interior Minister of Pakistan ordered authorities to finalise the agreement at the earliest after meeting with the Italian Ambassador. Both countries agreed to adopt a common policy to stop illegal migrants from Pakistan entering Italy, and the Pakistani government is conducting a countrywide crackdown against human trafficking with a zero-tolerance policy.
