Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost indicted Christopher J. Alexander for poaching an 18-point antlered white-tailed deer in Clinton County. Alexander, his sister Kristina, Corey P. Haunert, and Zachary R. Haunert face various charges, with Alexander facing 23 charges. The deer, believed to be the largest typical whitetail in Ohio, was allegedly killed in November 2023 and staged on Alexander's sister's property to conceal the poaching.
