10 Nepali mountain guides successfully climbed Mount Everest, opening the route for the spring climbing season. The team led by Dandy Sherpa fixed ropes for climbers, reaching the 8,848.86-meter-tall summit at 8:15 pm on Friday. The rope-fixing work started on Friday morning and concluded at night. Nepal's Department of Tourism had issued climbing permits to 414 climbers planning to ascend Mount Qomolangma from the Nepali side during this year's spring climbing season, with climbers hailing from 62 different countries and regions.
