Metallica performed a cover of Elton John's "Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding" at the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song ceremony in March. The concert was aired on PBS in April and Metallica has now posted a full performance video on YouTube. This marks a return favor from when Elton John contributed to a version of "Nothing Else Matters" in the 2021 Metallica Blacklist album.
