On May 9, 2024, an eight-bed ambulatory dialysis unit opened at Muaither Health Center in Doha, Qatar, as a joint initiative between Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC). The unit, one of four dialysis centers established in the area by PHCC and HMC, aims to improve access to dialysis services for kidney patients, enabling them to receive treatment closer to their homes and enhancing overall quality of care.
