JPMorgan Chase's wealth management unit has hired a Merrill Lynch advisor team that oversaw $28bn in client assets and generated $10m in annual revenue, in a move that could be the biggest in wealth management history. The Gray-Polverini team, led by advisors Eric Gray and Lance Polverini, will join J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in Los Angeles and focus on working with ultra-high-net-worth clients and their families.
