184,241 Indian Twitter accounts banned for policy violations, including child sexual exploitation and terrorism promotion.

Elon Musk's X Corp, parent company of X (formerly Twitter), banned 184,241 Indian accounts in March-April for policy violations, mostly related to child sexual exploitation and non-consensual nudity. 1,303 accounts were taken down for promoting terrorism. X Corp also processed 118 grievances related to account suspensions, overturning 4 of these after review. These actions are in line with the new IT Rules, 2021.
