IIT Madras develops electric flying taxi; praised by Mahindra Group Chairman.
Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra praised IIT Madras for developing an electric flying taxi, stating it's become one of the world's most "exciting and active incubators." He thanked the institution for helping change India's reputation as a country lacking genuine innovators. This electric flying taxi, being developed by a startup incubated at IIT Madras, is expected to be available by next year.
