A house was destroyed by fire in south Reno near Damonte Ranch High School, with some damage caused to neighboring homes. The blaze broke out just before 9:30pm on Friday and more than a dozen engines responded. No injuries were reported, but the homeowners, their dog and a missing cat will need assistance following the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
