Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev said on the Great Leader's birthday that thanks to his activity, the country embarked on a path of development. He added that in 1993, people appealed to the Great Leader, Heydar Aliyev, to take power because they knew he could save them from misfortunes. The president's comments were made during a ceremony presenting apartment keys to the first returning residents of Shusha.
