3 Harris County jail guards have been charged with assaulting and beating inmate Adael Gonzalez Garcia, who was left in a coma for a month. The indictments come after a grand jury investigation found the detention officers, Ezihuo Osiminibeke, Jimmy Poole, and John Ziesemer, allegedly assaulted Garcia while he was in custody. The three guards have been relieved of duty pending an internal investigation.
