Cablevision Holding, parent of Telecom Argentina, reported a 17.9% revenue decrease in Q1 2024 due to inflation outpacing service price increases.

Cablevisión Holding, parent company of Telecom Argentina, released its Q1 2024 results, showing a 17.9% decrease in real terms of total revenues at Ps. 683.9Bn compared to the same period in 2023. The company's management applied IAS 29 (inflation adjustment) following Resolution 777/18 issued by Comisión Nacional de Valores. Despite price increases for services in 2023 and Q1 2024, these were not sufficient to compensate for the lag in inflation, which reached 287.9% interannually as of March 2024.
