A 20-year-old man died in a scrambler bike crash in Dublin on Thursday afternoon, bringing the total number of road fatalities in Ireland this year to 72. The incident took place on Phibblestown Road in Castaheaney, Blanchardstown, and the road was temporarily closed for a forensic examination. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with camera footage from the area between 1.45 pm and 2.15 pm to come forward.
