48-year-old Flint man's U-Haul left turn causes fatal crash on Corunna Road, leading to the death of Jerry Lee Stanfill.
A Burton man critically injured in a crash on Corunna Road near the I-75 interchange on May 2 has died six days later. Jerry Lee Stanfill was driving west on Corunna Road when a 48-year-old Flint man driving a U-Haul van made a left turn in front of him. Stanfill was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on May 8. The Flint Township Police Department is investigating the crash, and the case will be presented to the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office for review.
