35-year-old Detroit man, Savion Jones, was arrested and charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Warren, that occurred on May 4th. Jones was driving a black Dodge Ram truck when he struck a 65-year-old pedestrian near the intersection of 11 Mile and Hoover roads. The victim later died in hospital. Jones was arrested and charged with one count of Failing to Stop at the Scene of a Crash resulting in Death, a 5-year felony.
