Vietnam seeks Samsung's cooperation in semiconductor development as the country builds a strategy to develop the semiconductor industry, according to Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc. She praised Samsung's projects in Vietnam and suggested the company support Vietnam in improving the capacity of domestic businesses to participate in its supply chain. Samsung has existing projects in Vietnam and has been a major investor in the country, contributing to local socio-economic development.
