A massive tree fell on a home in Monrovia, causing extensive damage to the property and a van. The incident occurred on Mountain Avenue near Foothill Boulevard and left the house red-tagged. Two residents, their dog, and two neighboring dogs managed to escape the falling tree. The cause of the tree falling is unknown, and no extreme weather was reported at the time.
