Toronto FC triumphed 3-0 against semi-pro side CS Saint-Laurent in the opening leg of their Canadian Championship quarterfinal. Matty Longstaff, Deandre Kerr, and Federico Bernardeschi scored for TFC, while CS Saint-Laurent, a Ligue1 Quebec champion, made history as the first team from the league to reach this stage of the competition. The match took place at Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard in Montreal.
