Sandro Botticelli's Venus and Mars painting leaves the National Gallery in London for the first time since 1874. The artwork, created in 1485, will be displayed at Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum, one of 12 locations hosting 12 paintings from the National Gallery's collection. The exhibition aims to explore themes of sex, nudity, intimacy, power, and gender through masterpieces of Italian art from the 15th and 16th centuries.
