3 suspects, Samatha Robinson, Lavonti Jeter, and Macala Wheeler, face 2nd-degree murder charges for allegedly supplying a fatal dose of fentanyl and cocaine to Johnson City resident, Alexander Payne (31), whose death was reported in December. Additionally, they face charges of conspiracy and drug possession. The investigation was conducted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Johnson City Police Department.
