Supreme Court dismisses Hemant Soren's plea against Jharkhand High Court's delay in an arrest case.
The Supreme Court disposed of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren's plea over the High Court's delay in pronouncing an order on his petition challenging his arrest. The apex court noted that Jharkhand High Court has recently delivered an order on JMM leader Soren's plea and rejected his petition against arrest in a money laundering case. The court also noted that Soren challenged that order in the Supreme Court and may raise all pleas and contentions in his other petition challenging the May 3, 2024, High Court order.
