Rightmove forecasts a 2% increase in UK housing market customers and predicts 1.1 million sales in 2024.
Rightmove, the UK's largest property portal, expects a better year for the UK housing market, forecasting a 2% year-on-year rise in customers. Despite high mortgage rates and long completion times, Rightmove states that customers are "now increasingly looking to transact." Sales agreed between January and April are up 17% compared to the same period last year, and the company predicts 1.1 million sales will occur over 2024.
