Phoenix Suns plan to hire Mike Budenholzer as head coach on a $10M/year contract after dismissing Frank Vogel.
Phoenix Suns reportedly plan to hire Mike Budenholzer as their next head coach on a contract that is expected to approach $10 million per year, following the dismissal of Frank Vogel. Budenholzer, 54, previously led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA championship and has a 484-317 record across 10 seasons coaching in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks and Bucks. The Suns hope Budenholzer can optimize their star players, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, after the team experienced a disappointing 2023-24 season.
