Perth bikie Troy Mercanti's rape and assault charges dropped as accuser withdraws claims.
Perth bikie Troy Mercanti's rape and assault charges were dropped after the woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her at his Karrinyup home withdrew her accusations. Mercanti's lawyer, Paul Holmes, informed Perth Magistrates Court of the decision. The charges stemmed from a night out on May 2, where the accuser met Mercanti and Perth businessman John Kizon and later went to Mercanti's mother's home, where they consumed alcohol and cocaine.
