Nigerian House of Representatives summons NDPHC Director over abandoned Gbarain 252MW power plant in Bayelsa. The plant is part of 23 National Integrated power projects and was affected by a fire on November 30, 2020. Vice President Kashim Shetima, who chairs the NDPHC Board, is urged to convene an emergency meeting for its urgent resuscitation. The motion has been referred to the committee on power for further legislative action.
