NCLAT admits appeals from Kuku FM, Shaadi.com, and the Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation against CCI's refusal for Google's Play Store interim relief on User Choice Billing Policy.

The NCLAT has admitted appeals from start-ups Kuku FM, Shaadi.com, and the Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation against the CCI's refusal to grant interim relief in the Google Play Store's User Choice Billing Policy (UCB). Google and CCI have been asked to file their responses within a week, and the case will be heard on May 24. The start-ups accuse Google of using its dominant position to charge a commission of 11-30% on listings for some apps while exempting others.
