Hungary's inflation rose to 3.7% YoY in April, surpassing the central bank's 3.0% target.

Hungary's inflation increased for the first time in 15 months in April, reaching 3.7% year-on-year, compared to 3.6% in March, marking the lowest inflation since February 2021. Consumer prices rose 0.7% in April, compared to a 0.8% increase in March. Food prices grew at a slightly faster pace, while utility costs decreased by 4.5%. Hungary's inflation remains above the central bank's target of 3.0%.
