GM aims to regain market share in China by introducing new electric vehicles and redesigning Buick brand.

GM President Mark Reuss says the company aims to regain market share in China, where it hit a 20-year low in 2021, by introducing new all-electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and redesigning its Buick brand. GM's China market share dropped below 9% for the first time since 2003, and its earnings from Chinese operations have fallen 78.5% since peaking in 2014.
