Florida State Univ., FAMU, and Tallahassee Technical College closed campuses on Friday due to storm damage, including downed powerlines, trees, and debris. FAMU also reported a localized tornado warning and power outages. Non-essential staff were instructed to work from home and essential personnel only allowed on campus. Damage assessments are underway.
