Czech retail sales growth exceeds forecast, surging 6.1% year-on-year in March, according to data from the Czech Statistical Office. The increase was faster than the 2.5% rise in February and well above the expected 2.7% growth. Sales of non-food items rose 7.7% annually, while food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 4.0%. Retail sales via mail order or the internet advanced 14.9% during the same period.
