The Blue Ridge Parkway's Roanoke corridor receives a $75M grant for road and safety upgrades. The Great American Outdoors Act Legacy Restoration Funding will aid a three-year project, improving 24 miles of the Parkway with slope stabilization, road resurfacing, drainage repairs, and more. The National Park Service and Federal Highway Administration jointly manage the project, with minimal road closures planned in 2025 and 2026.
