Alpine has unveiled the Alpenglow Hy4 hydrogen combustion prototype, a hydrogen-powered hypercar concept demonstrating innovation in the automotive industry. The Alpenglow Hy4 features a 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine with 340bhp, powered exclusively by hydrogen stored in three tanks. Alpine plans to present a V6 engine version by the end of the year. The company's parent company, Renault, sees hydrogen-powered internal combustion engines as a promising solution for racing and road use, as part of their efforts to meet carbon neutrality objectives.
