Grace Caroline Currey, known for her roles in Shazam and Fall, will star in a remake of Wes Craven's 2006 horror film, The Breed. Directed by filmmaking brothers Sean and Bryan Furst, the new production will offer an "unconventional reimagining" of the original, with Currey's character, Violet, on a mission to search for abandoned dogs on a remote island, which leads to adrenaline-fueled terror. The film will be produced by Curmudgeon Films.
